moist on the inside, crunchy on the outside! So it was CHEER 2017 few days ago, I was busy with coaching and also preparing my team for their competition. They performed really well on comp day and they hit their perfect routine! So proud of them because this is their first year cheering on the blue mat. All my days coaching them under the scorching hot sun was worth it. I am so much tanner now because of them, but no regrets. They proved to me that they're worthy! I baked these protein brownies to fuel me when I need a quick snack or even a quick breakfast. These come in handy during peak cheer season. This recipe is gonna be a good one, low in sugar, low in fats and high in protein! Plus points, IT CONTAINS CHOCOLATE! Also, this was baked using my new oven from Panasonic! Panasonic Cubie oven is compact, easy to use and clean. It is suitable for families who are busy yet want to have a healthier lifestyle. Let me tell you a little more about the Panasonic Cubie Oven. If you read my blog post about the Panasonic event, you'll know how convenient this Cubie Oven is! Head over there to read about it, or keep reading for the protein brownie recipe! This brownie needs a secret ingredient, it is flourless, but we will need .... CHICKPEAS! I used one from the cans, it's easy and convenient. You can find it in all grocery stores. Chickpeas are high in protein, high in fiber and also full of vitamins & minerals. It is also a type of complex carbs, which helps control blood sugar levels. Its high protein and fiber makes you feel full and helps you curb food cravings, this helps me prevent unhealthy snacking... YAY! Perfect for a former binge eater. The cracks on the brownie just make you feels so good, also those melty warm chocolate chips! While I was taking photos of these beauties my grandmother just randomly put that that little ducky in the corner saying that he wants to join in the photo shoot. This moment was too cute, I had to include little ducky. FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE PROTEIN BROWNIESServes : 9 slices
